Choose an air reel for your workstation

Compare four air reel lengths and dimensions, then confirm tool air requirements, connections and layout for your workstation.

An air reel is one part of a pneumatic system. Selection needs to account for the working route, the tool connection and the air requirements of the equipment. A product described as an air hose reel should not be assumed to connect to every pneumatic tool or deliver the required performance without a configuration check.

The current Yrvenok catalogue provides model-specific hose lengths and product dimensions for four FDAB reels. Use those catalogue-transcribed values to build the shortlist, then resolve the connection and operating details for the actual workstation.

Compare the four listed air reels

Model Listed hose length Product dimensions, as printed
FDAB10-3/8 10 M 360 × 210 × 320 MM
FDAB15-3/8 15 M 360 × 210 × 320 MM
FDAB20-3/8 20 M 425 × 220 × 375 MM
FDAB30-3/8 30 m 460 × 250 × 400 MM

The air-reel parameter block lists PP Body / PVC + RUBBER Hose and Working Temperature of -25°C ~ 45°C (-13°F ~ 113°F). The dimension order is retained exactly as printed. These are supplier catalogue statements and bare-product dimensions, not independent test results, carton sizes or a complete installed-clearance drawing.

The catalogue lists Max. Pressure of 10 BAR and PP Body / PVC + RUBBER Hose for these FDAB reels. It does not establish a flow-capacity figure, feed-hose length or BSP/NPT connection specification. Keep the full website model code and match it to the printed model and configuration; a model suffix alone is not a connector or thread specification.

Start with the equipment that will be connected

List the actual pneumatic tools and the information supplied with them. An air screwdriver, ratchet, impact wrench, stapler or other tool can place different demands on its supply and connection. Those examples describe possible workstation categories; they are not an unconditional compatibility list for the reels.

Ask the tool supplier for the relevant operating and connection requirements, then have the proposed reel configuration checked against them. A reel rating, when confirmed, is not the same thing as the pressure available at the tool, and a connector that appears to fit does not establish system performance.

Record the real working route

Show where the supply connection, proposed reel mounting position, bench or vehicle bay and tool-use point will be. Account for obstacles and the position of the person doing the work. Specify whether the tool is used close to a bench or across a wider service area instead of describing the request only as “workshop use.”

The supply line into the reel and the working line leaving it must be identified separately in an installation discussion. Confirm mounting instructions, structural support, connection locations and operating clearance for the selected model. Neither this selection guide nor a marketing illustration is a substitute for the correct installation instructions.

Keep numerical claims model-bound

Do not carry a pressure value from another reel, a generic article label or an unrelated tool into this comparison. The current supplied catalogue prints Max. Pressure of 10 BAR for FDAB10, FDAB15, FDAB20 and FDAB30. Keep this source claim tied to those models and the selected configuration; it is not independent testing or proof of the pressure available at a connected tool.

Likewise, the photograph of a hose connection cannot confirm thread form, sealing method, rated movement or a retraction-cycle test result. If those points matter to the application, put them in the technical questions attached to the enquiry.

Prepare a quotation brief that separates the decisions

Include the FDAB models being compared, quantities, destination, tool list and its documented air/connection requirements. Add a route or workstation description and any branding, packaging, sample or document requirements.

The general order quantity is typically 1,000 units or more, subject to the selected models and customization. Ask for the configuration and commercial terms together; do not assume a standard delivery time or a universal accessory bundle.

Open a model from the table to retain its identity when requesting a quote. Review air hose reels or send your workstation requirements.

FDAB10-3/8 and FDAB15-3/8 fit short bench and tool-cart routes where the compressor is nearby.

FDAB20-3/8 and FDAB30-3/8 support wider maintenance zones or routes around vehicles and equipment.

Keep hose diameter, working pressure, fitting preference, and mounting height together when preparing inquiry notes.

For workshop planning, note whether the hose travels across a floor path, above a bench, around a vehicle, or beside a tool cart.
